Profile

With over 20 years working within healthcare, Lauren is an experienced occupational therapist and rehabilitation case manager who is passionate about helping adults and children maximise their independence and regain control of their lives after catastrophic injuries.

After working in a clinical management role for a large case management company, Lauren decided to set up LMC Case Management in 2019 to focus on providing independent, top-quality, evidence-based rehabilitation case management.

Lauren's area of specialist interest is working with individuals who have experienced traumatic upper, lower, or multiple amputations. She has completed postgraduate courses to further her knowledge in the field of prosthetic and amputee rehabilitation. Her clinical experience and additional study in this area has equipped her to carry out detailed assessments and help all the individuals she works with overcome the barriers they face, to achieve what is meaningful to them.

Lauren is highly knowledgeable and up-to-date with the latest advances in prosthetic rehabilitation and has developed close working relationships with private providers to maximise post-amputation function. In 2022, she was a CMSUK finalist with STEPS Rehabilitation in the Partnership Initiative award.

Lauren continues to hold a small case load and also manages a small team of Associate Case Managers at COTA, providing clinical supervision and mentoring on complex cases to maximise clinical outcomes.
